Stunners Jayne - A Legend Dies

Kaos's Lee Adams tells us the sad news that Jayne, founder and owner of Stunners, the Kaos venue and more recently Interzone's, died peacefully in her sleep Thursday 30 May 2013.

Lee writes about her and the consequences for Kaos below. Stunners is threatened with closure, they are asking for help, especially legal. Kaos may need a new venue. Assuming everything is permitted, the next Kaos will be a special at Stunners for 19 hours Saturday 29 17:00 - Sunday 30 June 10:00.

The slave George first went to Kaos shortly after it opened and spent many many hours of pleasure there. Through a magic haze he remembers the Alice in Wonderland club, being tied naked by friends to the four poster bed who left his socks on and did not discover the jewels inside, the Tardis like cubicles, the tranny lorry driver who was so nervous he could barely grunt, the queue of eager rosy lipped trannies, getting naked and fucking on stage. The memories go on and of the many friends there: Alex who panicked and fled, Bradley and his orange overalls, Gavin who fell in love with it, Lev who came and went, Marco who introduced him, Ronan the loyal one and many others who he forgets in the haze.

Video: iDodge Tax Protest Flashmob at Apple Regent Street

On Monday a flashmob including comedians Mark Thomas, Nick Revell, Chris Coltrane and Tiernan Douieb stormed the Regent Street branch of the Apple Store to highlight their disgusting tax avoidance scam by using Irish-subsidiaries.

Thomas says "We temporarily turned the store into Irish territory with music, dancing, flags, posters and messages about their iDodge on many of their big screens. A good craic was had by all."
