You might think Vauxhall's all clubbing but it's not. There are genuine knitting circles. Our friend George, editor of Damaged Berlin, found one in a wool shop on Bonnington Square (pictured). They meet regularly and you can find more info here: www.iknit.org.uk
What are they knitting? Without a word of a lie, they told George they were "knitting tits". As in breasts. For women who'd had one or both chopped off due to breast cancer. You never know what's going on.
So next time you're in Vauxhall off your tits you can always get new ones.
