SATURDAY 17th November sees FUTURE re-locate it’s party over to AREA. NOW open earlier but with extended times so more people can enjoy the night in their own time zone, the party now kicks off at 11pm and will continue in the ULTRA LATE LOUNGE right thru til 10.00am in the morning!!! ARRIVE early and pay a £10 for all night or arrive after 5.00 and pay just £5.00 to party til ULTRA late.
For the hundreds that loved FUTURE at it’s original afterhours home we will be bringing the same great music policy featuring the sexy new funky tek sounds with the elektro fused house sounds championed by some of the scene’s best djs such as Paul Heron, dj Pagano, Brent Nicholls Jamie Head and more… we will introducing some new names to Vauxhall also such Gabriel Cutrano who won a lot of fans on the dancefloor at DTPM and St David who proved such a hit in the test zone at Future a few months ago – we firmly believe these guys are part of the NU breed and we know they both have a great future ahead of them. Indeed in our continuing goal to introduce fresh talent in the Vauxhall scene – we will shortly be introducing a new guest dj spot for each event called the “TEST GUEST”… further details where to send your audition showreels will be listed on areaclub.info..
The launch party will also see a brand new sound system and dj booth installed for AREA – especially imported from the USA and was first designed as the showcase sound system for the famous AVALON clubs in NYC + LA. This AWARD winning sound system is regarded as one of the best in the world and AREA are very happy to be the first club in the UK with such a system… more details and how many of the world top djs consider the AVALON sound system to be worlds best at www.eaw.com/frontrow/2006/04/ and www.lacitybeat.com/article.php?id=3884&IssueNum=157 . One main technical difference apparently is the fact that most club speakers were originally designed for live music – the speakers in the AVALON system were the first to be tailored for dance and clubbing sounds
The sound isn’t the only thing to get a boosting… the new glass attic bar & lounge will also open to the public for the first time – with a more relaxed vibe, a glass wall overlooking the dancefloor and extra toilets, this is a whole comfortable new space to explore…
