...three bank holiday Monday weekends (5 & 26 May and 25 August) to go, or survive depending on your disposition.
We'll ensure you've got everything you need to plan ahead and if you've anything more you'd lke to suggest we do, give's a shout.
If anybody's got any views on the weekend just gone, do share:)

I think as far as the main dance floor is concerned, especially when Big Name DJs play, it will be an improvment (though not been to MOS for some time, so not sure what the sound system & light are like now)
As for the crowd, we will just have to wait an see.

Yes I agree, the Gallery crowd are always friendly.
I'm not quite sure how Gallery is going to work at MoS though. Turnmills had that trashy in a good way feel to it that matched the night perfectly but every time i've been to MoS its been full of dressed up people in their bling and tourists. I just hope enough of the Gallery regulars turn up to show them how we do it.

We sadly missed the Last Gallery, as really were still reeling from the Last Trade @ Turnmills LOL....but both big Gallery fans, always a very friendly crowd and AWSOME music!
So will definately be at MOS in April, especially as Armin Van Buuren is playing too :)

Also went to the last Gallery at Turnmills - the Trade closing was so good, I had to go back to Turnmills for one last dance - and was blown away by the friendliness of the crowd and the quality of the music... Really going to miss Turnmills, but looking forward to becoming a regular at Gallery at its new home of Ministry of Sound next month.

I did all the usual Fire and all 12 hours of Matinee but my weekend highlight and as all my friends agreed, one of the best nights out clubbing ever was the last Gallery @ Turnmills. We were there for just over 13 hours, every second was so much fun and I can't believe its over. Absolutely amazing sets from Sister Bliss, Alex P, Lisa Loud, Tania Von Pear, John Askew and the final few hours in the main room that had us pinned to the floor to the very end and brought a tear to my eye from Steve Lee and Gavyn Mytchel. A good memory and good tribute to one of the best nights out.

Went Matinee which was fab, it really is the best music and venue in london on the gay scene at the moment, stayed there until 9ish and then went to Fire - atfer Matinee Orange and Later just seemed awful in comparison, sahme fire doesn't have some sort of music policy in the main room like trade whereby the music flows, rather than it being all over the place, very up and down...then went to vaxuall sauna, can't understand why they don't get a dj playing in there sometimes, that would be fab!

I was with a friend from abroad who had never been to London before - so naturally I had to take him to Fire. Absolutely rammed. About 3am we were in the shadow lounge bit - the music got so _painfully_ loud that I had to move over towards the stairs... where we saw some young chap having what at first I thought were convulsions but then realised was just a very bad acid trip. Security dragged him off to Fire Hospital. Meanwhile, the main floor was playing at what felt like 120 BPM - very, very, very, very strange. However one good side effect was that From The Stars lasted longer :) All in all, the night was very good, the music in the mirror arch was FANTASTIC - best set I have heard in Fire EVER - highlight was hearing Arguru (at about 2am).
Sunday we decided to just have a relaxed evening in Soho - so we headed there only to find it deserted! No one around at all. We ended up in Trash Palace which had a good vibe but felt very quiet.

Whilst im still getting pissed and drinkin to talullah,. Im sure that most people love the hustle and bustle, push and shove of the major clubs. Personally I work at weekends and have always like small, especially the old substation which I used to manage. It seems that venues like that and the old LA have faded away. I look forward to a revival. Incidentally I was told by my gym mates that the gyms were packed to the hilt in the past few days!!!

Hear hear!! Matinee, you surpassed yourself on Sunday. Great music, great crowd, and the vibe was reminiscent of DTPM at its thumping best!

Had a very chilled week-end until Sunday night when myself and probably close to 2000 other clubbers had an amazing night at Matinee. 12 hours of great music in a fantastic venue and surrounded by a sexy crowd. Can you ask for more?
And at £16 for 12 hours it was definitely the best in terms of value for money.
Bring the next one on Oliver! :)

Yeah! Fantastic bank holiday... I started by taking a date to 1801 @ Andaz (formerly Great Eastern Hotel) and LoungeLover on Wednesday.. A bit of a late one so work was difficult on Thursday.. arrived 1.5 hours late.
Still, I managed to get to the pub after work, though, and ended up in a straight brothel where a co-worker purchased me a duo lap dance (eek!). That was enough to scare me into Soho, where I had a bite at Bar Italia, then straight on to Lo Profile, which was pretty busy as usual. Took off to Fire around closing time and got home extremely late with a random blond cutie in tow. Ha.
Friday was a write-off.
After various errands Saturday, I headed to Profile Bar which was heaving and pretty decent. Straight on to Shadow Lounge, which was a bit quiet but suprisingly comfortable. Followed that up with Lo Profile which was much like Thursday- busy! I love how tribal the sounds get at Lo Pro on Saturdays.
And then on to Fire for a repeat, which was busier than I've seen it in ages.... Lovely. Lots of gorgeous guys but some were quite predatory and I felt a little umcomfortable at times. I must have heard the Moto Blanco remix of Charlean's "Mr. DJ" like 3 times... cheesy as hell but fun to hear loud. Also remixes Tikaro and Ferran's "Shine on Me" seemed to be on constant rotation. At around 2PM Sunday I found myself still there, surrounded by clubbing casualties and then I made my escape. I think it's always a mistake staying this late!! Naturally, I didn't make it anywhere on Sunday.

The weekend was great i caught up with an ex and went out for lunch and rested and went back to work feeling refreshed and hangover free.
Well with Trade not on at Easter, short of getting out of London there was nothing on to inspire the clubber with taste.

The small number of comments posted on here in the past few days would suggest that people are still recovering from the Easter weekend let alone contemplating another bout.
At least the (JHC Covent Garden) gym should be nice and quiet for a few more days yet!
