ICEHA BENEFIT PARTY: FUNDING AN HIV CLINIC IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD
Following the RVT’s long tradition of raising money for charity, the Vauxhall Taverners bring you FUNdamental on Friday 30th January.
The Vauxhall Taverners are raising money to adopt a mentored HIV clinic in the developing world via a charity called the International Community for Equality in Healthcare Access (ICEHA).
(The Vauxhall Taverners are a long standing network of RVT regulars who communicate via a yahoo group set up 6+ years ago.)
To do this we need to raise £9000. The good news is that we have already raised over £5500! To finish off this appeal there is a fundraising night on Friday 30th January (after the first pay day of the New Year, for those who work!).
The evenings event on Friday 30th is called FUNdamental.
THE LINE-UP FOR THE NIGHT:
>> Doors open at 7pm featuring door whore TRANNIE LENNOX (you might recognise her from other Sunday appearances!)
>> There will be a show and charity auction featuring ZOE LYONS and GILL MANLY from 8.30pm.
>> Plus DJs EDDIE K, HOWARD TURNER, PHILL MARRIOTT and ROB C through 'til 2am.
Further details are available on Facebook or via the RVT website www.rvt.org.uk/fundamental.
Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the night
Tickets available from Thomas, Tristan, Debbieanne, Mike or Diana, or by emailing taernst@doctors.org.uk
All auction and door takings going to the charity.
Please buy your tickets now and spread the word to friends, family and colleagues to have fun and to help us raise the final £3.5K, whilst knowing that a little bit of the RVT is helping fund HIV services in Africa or Asia, as well as all of the wonderful charity work we have done for HIV services here in the UK.

"One to Watch " - Time Out
"Her material is diverse; flitting from one subject to another without breaking pace and she hits the right comedic tone every time" - funny.co.uk

Gill Manly is this" - Ian Shaw"You're never to old to sing your song and Gilly does just that. Sing your song Miss Gilly. It's about time" - Sheila Jordan
"The energy and strength of Gill Manly's voice and jazz work constantly amazes me. Gill Manly has one of the finest vocal jazz conceptions in Britain today." - Mark Murphy

We have some fabulous auction goods on the go including goody bags from those stars of the 10th anniversary Chillout, and some pretty startling donations from some of our own and from many others out there on the scene. The list is under compilation as we speak, so watch this space! I will say that I'm truly gobsmacked by some of the donations and you will not be disappointed on the night!

The RVT is again puuling out all the stops with another charity event. DE anounced last week that the RVT had raised £20,000+ for charity in 2008, which is truly remarkable !! Good luck with this one Tristan.
