WOTEVER SEX
Wotever Sex presents: Josephine Wilson, Jet Moon, Switch, Killpussy, Hilda Eusebio and Mr Meredith...
...a series of queerlesque (def. burlesque with a queer twist) shows devoted to the sex lives of some truly unique performers. See them bare their innermost desires, secret fantasies and insecurities about sex, sexuality, gender and whatever else rocks their boats. Our six internationally renowned queer artists will each be performing a new show over this exciting 6 week run, hoping to drive you wild with ecstasy and titillation through song, dance, comedy and acrobatics (“makes the kama sutra look like…” – major celebrity who wishes to remain anonymous).
Each week we feature an artist that has performed regularly throughout the world. Wotever gives each artist their own night to do with whatsoever they wish (shocking!). Each artist is invited to spread their wings and show us just what they can do – taking over the Royal Vauxhall Tavern with their work – on stage, on the walls, through sound however they wish. You will be exposed to the full force of their art. Expect intimate, throbbing, yet softly touching performances, delvings into those areas that even Freud dared to tread. Each performance/show is different though sharing a common belief that life can never fit into the simple boxes that we are handed at birth, promoting the belief that we should all express ourselves as vibrantly, loudly and safely as possible. So cum one, cum all.
IN celebration of LGBT and Queer performers and performance art.

FRI 13th March : 2nd FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
KIMONO KRUSH
Kimono Krush = explosive cocktail of 60s girl groups, 70s disco, 80s pop, 90s Britpop and 00s electro as East London nightlife collides with South London clubbing.
Taking London by storm, Kimono Krush is the new clubnight from The Sugarlow Boys, Al Dente, MarcwithaC and The Duchess of Pork. Join the mayhem as cultures clash with a musical cocktail of girl groups, soul, French pop, disco, new wave, electro, Britpop, indie dance and more. It happens every second Friday of the month at the RVT; £5 in with cheap drinks and cocktails available for those who can handle it….
This Month:
KIMONO KRUSH presents London's first Celebrity Masked Ball©! What the Tom Cruise is that? Well, imagine a kind of Celebrity Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but music, dancing and paper masks instead of real skin. KIMONO KRUSHERS can collect the mask of their favourite celebrity's face on the door and spend the night recreating infamous scenes from Hello, Dynasty and Midnight Express...
Power dressing is not compulsory (as that's what a lot of KIMONO KRUSHERS are anyway) but it would of course be lovely to see them in all their garish finery. Let's see if we can get papped leaving together and start some rumours...
RYAN STYLES (http://www.ryanstyles.com/) is one of the most acclaimed and prolific conceptual performers in London, sucker punches the boundaries between performance art, mime and drag with highly stylised, poignant and beautifully crafted performances that have secured his place in the underworld of nightlife as well as the bastion of the art world and cabaret circuits. A modern day identity chameleon RYAN STYLES has been featured in a numerous fashion and trend magazines, pop videos, hosted celebrity parties and been covered in jam, milk and feathers! The ideal guest performer for March’s KIMONO KRUSH!
DJ Lush is the indie queer diva and a DJ extraordinaire, who has played indie/pop/electro sets at some of London’s best loved alternative nights such as Lippy, Marvellous, Miss-Shapes, Gay Shame and Duckie.
