Another stunning charity night was held at the RVT on the 29th May. This follows on from last years £7000 raised at the WAD event and over £6000 raised at Fundamental on 30th January (contributing to a total of £12k raised by friends for Global Medic Force to set up a clinic in North West Nepal). The RVT and the 'Vauxhall Taverners' have done it again. On Friday 29th May at The Tavern's Got Talent there were 9 performances in front of a formidable panel of judges: Jonathan Hellyer, David Hoyle and Stuart Who?
A cheque for £1417.45 was presented on Sunday 14th June by The D.E. Experience to the Food Chain, a link to the photos of the cheque presentation is below. Congratulations to Voodoo Mick on winning the contest, he was fantastic and entertained the customers of S.L.A.G.S / CHILL-OUT with The D.E.experiene to massive applause on Sunday 7th June.
We wish to thank all who came and supported the event and helped in the organisation, running and who took part. Andrew Davies, General Manager, from The Food Chain passes on his thanks in his letter: "Thank you for your generous support, this was a truly remarkable and unexpected result. Please pass my thanks on to everyone that was involved in the night and donated their time - DJs, performers, panel members, host, door staff and production team...'
