Advanced Electronics is THE new party in the Long Room @ Club Colosseum, Vauxhall .
It is aimed at those people who know that most music on the gay scene is lagging behind and that better music is out there. It's for all of you who spend weekends checking the latest tracks and labels outside the usual gay music haunts and know that Pride weekend is not the only festival...
For those who are tired with those high pitched vocals, in every funky house tune crying: "take me higher, I'm on fire , you are my desire"... Advanced Electronics will bring you new line ups of world acclaimed guest Djs outside the traditional gay scene.
We will play you the deepest house tunes, the bumpiest minimal, some alternative electro and the 135 bpm's techno we missed SO much! The opening night we'll be joined by Dj / Producer Tony Wah-Chu-Ku (who among others has worked along side Jazzanova, Macy Gray,U.N.K.L.E, Robert Owens, DJ Cam, DJ Krush, Sonar Kollective Ninjatunes...and so on) you might have heard his deep sets in the BIG CHILL FESTIVAL or in Cargo. Tony is also the creator of the world famous club "CDR".
For over 7 yrs, "CDR" has been running monthly in Plastic People with a music policy of playing exclusive dance tunes not released yet. Wah-Chu-Ku above all is feeling the pulse of London underground dance music...
Entry will be free with the flyer before midnight and £5 afterwards. In case you could not get hold of our fabulous original Tom Oldham flyer... just recite "cheese is not our cup of tea" to our friendly (ish) stuff on the door. you'll get in for free before midnight.
