One of our rare interviews in German with English subtitles. We interviewed Bernd Bossmann in his cafe in the St.-Matthäus-Kirchhof cemetery. Click the headline to view / read more.
Bernd is a performer, producer, carer and candidate for sainthood. He started the first HIV/AIDS clinic in Berlin when his friends were dying in misery. He is a drag performer under the name Ich Gola Androgyn and he now runs a cafe in the cemetery where visitors can contemplate life and death and talk about it when they want. In addition he also runs a community theatre group, O-Tonart, and talked about some of the youth projects they run. And then there's the boarding house ... mainly for gay tourists.
