Ranjit Nankani (30) from Croydon has been found guilty of murdering Gary Johnson (25) outside the Ministry of Sound last August. In a dire state of affairs, the two men had gotten into a fight after Johnson trod on Nankani's foot. They were flung out whereupon Nankani got his car and run over Johnson crushing his head open. Johnson's mate then fired shots at the car. The scene outside the club was terrifying. So, one dead, two going to prison and all because of somebody trod on somebodys foot.
The SE1 website describes the scene caught on CCTV and shown below. They say the footage shows "the...Mitsubishi Shogun that Nankani was driving on the pavement and accelerating at high speed towards McPherson and Gary Johnson. Gary Johnson is on the left wearing all white and Dwayne McPherson is on the right and wearing dark clothing. It then cuts to the vehicle colliding with a parked car. A number of members of the public rush towards the car and then run away as McPherson fires shots at the vehicle."
