Policeman Mark Carter (27) has been given unconditional bail after denying a series of sex offences including one of raping another man. In total he's been charged with two rapes, three sexual assaults and with possession of a class B steroid.
He was charged after an incident at a hotel in Leeds last December. He's pleading not guilty and he's due back in court this December.
Carter was crowned Mr Gay UK in 2006 at the Flamingo Club in Blackpool.
