Saturday 26th November - WAD Screening of The Universe of Keith Haring.
To mark World Aids Day this year Eagle London will be screening THE UNIVERSE OF KEITH HARING by director Christina Clausen. A documentary and intimate portrait of the world-renowned artist Keith Haring whose mantra was that "Art is for everyone!" The film is a thorough and intimate exploration of the background and career of one of the most popular and significant artists of the 20th century. The film features interviews and archival footage of Fab 5 Freddy, Grace Jones, Madonna, Yoko Ono, David LaChapelle, Kenny Scharf, Carlo McCormick, Andy Warhol, Ann Magnuson, Tony Shafrazi, and Junior Vasquez, among many others.
We will be serving fresh hot pizza slices for the screening and will have excellent drinks offers. Manager's Special Cocktail and Fosters/Kronenberg just £2 until 11pm!!
The evening continues after the film with a special DJ set from Luke Howard (Horse Meat Disco/Deep Inside) who will be playing a classic 90's house set inspired by the film.
We are FREE before 11pm, £5 after. All profits from the night will go to GMFA.
