Contact is picking up nicely with a very sexy crowd in last week.
Great news. The wonderful man behind Rudeboyz and Fitladz is sorting out boring old Thursdays with a proper s*x night. Thursdays have been a bit quiet of late so we're delighted.
Steve Darragh the promoter says "From the creators of Fitladz - Contact is the new weekly Thursday club for guys looking to make contact with like minded guys. The atmosphere is friendly and informal just like Fitladz on a Friday. The darkroom is just the same with a security personnel manning the entrance. Music is by Steven Geller who will be playing his trademark pumping house sound.
Everyone is welcome and at just £5 offers great value. Open 10pm-3am.
Not sure if it's the rampant Fire cuckoo in the nest but Tuesday morning's (5am-11am, £5) has moved from Factory to Barcode. Steven Geller on the decks etc.
Barcode's rise and rise since Steve Darragh moved his suite of clubs there continues apace - the next new launch is Nitro on Sunday 16 October. It'll bring uplifting house from 7pm till late. We'd like to flag up Fitadz as a brilliant success there BTW - go, its really good and we love it! More below...
Big news for Vauxhall. Steve Darragh, promoter of Fitladz, Bodyshakers and Crunch (among his many ventures) is moving all three said clubs to Barcode. Fitladz will celebrate its fifth birthday there (entry via Goding Street) on Friday 12 August and then go weekly.
React Now! launched with a slightly back to front line-up last weekend - moody at the beginning?! Anyhoo, we hear it should be punchier from the start this Friday.
Barcode Soho was our first ever regular bar in London and we're gutted to see it gone. But we're pleased we don't need to now say Barcode Vauxhall as that was exhausting. It's been going FIVE years and really helped solidify Vauxhall as a proper place to go out. A bar and you get to keep your clothes on. Most of the time.
Anyhoo, "continue reading" for details of this Saturday's birthday bash and news on their new Friday nighter, React Now - Rich B, Hugh Stevenson and more. Yay!
