The bad news is that gay club Ghetto has gone bust after a 'rocky financial year and a costly move'. The good news is that Wayne Shires (ex Sub Station Soho and Crash) is renaming Ghetto to East Bloc and continuing the Beartronic and Wig Out parties there on Fridays and Saturdays. It starts on Saturday Jan 2nd with a Wigout. Popstarz also continues at The Den on Fridays (but not the 1st) with a New Years Eve masked party.

The End is closing its doors for good in January. Zoe of End fame says they want to move on and in some coded language, with another kind of business. That's the facts and they're hot on the heels of other bad news for Soho clubbing - Westminster won't be allowing another club to open in the building replacing Ghetto and GAY. Not unexpected given their attitude...
The end of clubbing as we know it. What we do know is that this leaves Barcode, Lo-Profile and whatever's left by January.
