Barcode's rise and rise since Steve Darragh moved his suite of clubs there continues apace - the next new launch is Nitro on Sunday 16 October. It'll bring uplifting house from 7pm till late. Big news for Vauxhall. Steve Darragh, promoter of Fitladz, Bodyshakers and Crunch (among his many ventures) is moving all three said clubs to Barcode. Fitladz will celebrate its fifth birthday there (entry via Goding Street) on Friday 12 August and then go weekly.
Dramatic news for naughty boys in Vauxhall - there will be no more Fitladz at Union in the immediate future. Instead the tart's off whoring and touring with a party at Factory 65 on 8 July and then an East End Fitladz at East Bloc the week after.

Nudity used to be once a month, then they went twice a month and discovered the same number of gay naked enthusiasts coming each time. So now they are going every Friday starting tomorrow with lower entry prices: Only £10 for non-members. Fitladz continues in the front half of the Union and when Nudity finishes at around 3am you can go on to Fitladz free.

They had a For Sale sign up and now it's gone, so there were some rumours that Union was closing. It's not closing. Here's what they say: "To stop the rumours about the closure of the club, this is not the case at all. The club management structure will be changing in the near future and you'll see a bigger and better venue with a major new investment to the venue. All existing promotions except for one will be retained on a business as usual formula. Many of you won't even notice the change. The hugely popular Fitladz and Nudity clubs will be remaining in the usual slots!
Alan from the MA1 promotion side of things is in the process of purchasing new venue in the London area. So watch this space as they say! Club-CP will be moving to a new venue in the next couple of months."
Fitladz tell us that they are number 1 "and that's official". We don't know what made it official, but we do know that in the last month (June 14-July 14) the Fitladz page on discodamaged was the second most popular club night. The top 3 were 1. Nudity 2.
