FRIDGE REOPENING IN AUGUST

The Fridge is to reopen at the end of August as a “state of the art” music venue. It was bought last year when it went into receivership and has had £1m spent on restorations. The plan is for it to take the place of the Astoria in attracting live music acts like it did during the eighties.

MATINEE @ FRIDGE 1ST MAY

Matinee has its final outing at the Fridge before the refurb on 1st May. It's La Leche White Party with DJs G-Martin, Vanessa Klein (LPA), Paul Heron, Pagano and Alessandro in the VIP lounge. Matinee will move to another undisclosed venue after this finale. Click the headline for more details.

FRIDGE MAGNATE?

Fancy trying to resurrect The Fridge? It's in the hands of receivers with an asking price for the leasehold of £1/4m. There are already three interested parties though we imagine non are gay - here's hoping though. Despite it's recent history it has a cutting edge history.

MATINEE 6TH FEB

Matinée 'Under Construction' is the first Matinee party under the management of Logan Presents on 6th Feb at iconic London gay club the Fridge. They'll have DJs J. Louis, Paul Heron, Pagano and Vanessa Klein doing a live PA. And the official after party will be at Beyond with a shuttle service provided. We ask if thefox will continue slagging off Matinee now? FAKE AT FRIDGE

The King Blues, Arrows Of Love, Gaggle, The Homosexuals, Pocket Lips and many more acts have been confirmed to perform at F.A.K.E., the first of a brand new series of live music nights at the Brixton Fridge tonight Friday November 13th. Tickets - £8 in advance, £10 on the door / £5 NUS. Doors - 9pm - 6am

THRILLER HALLOWEEN AT FRIDGE

There's a gay Halloween party at club Fridge on 31st October. Brought to you by by Logan it will feature DJs Brad, Tony English, D’johnny and Lotte live. £15 advance tix, £20 on the door or a tenner if you dress up spooky. Read on for details.

LOVE MUSCLE 17

Love Muscle is 17 on Saturday 10th October and they are celebrating at the Fridge with a lunar themed party. They'll have 'astronaut' DJ’s Chris Brogan, Howard Turner & Wayne G. LOVE MUSCLE XXX 4TH JULY

FRIDGE MAGNET?

We were surprised by the short notice on this weekends Love Muscle but it's looking good. Andrew emailed us to say "YES WE WERE REALLY LATE WITH THIS, AS WE WERE RAISING FINANCE FOR THE BUSINESS, WHICH WE DID YIPEEEE, SO NOW AT LAST WE CAN FOCUS ON LMXX AND THE CLUB IN GENERAL, THE FIRST THING THAT IS HAPPENING IS A NEW SOUND SYSTEM COSTING £150K FOR LIVE AND DANCE NIGHTS, SHOULD BE IN BY END OF APRIL."

We're willing to forgive his caps lock seeing's he appears to have secured the venue and Love Muscle's immediate future - oh and saving Yvette for the nation which is great.  We reckon that if they can come up with a few fresh and fun  nights that fill the current gap, they could rake it in - folks are ripe for the picking.  Let's hope they get some and they stick.  Here's looking to you Andrew and his team!

After a successful re-launch at the Fridge in Brixton, Revolver returns for another night of gay circuit styled clubbing on Saturday 28th February 2009.
Without a doubt Revolver exploded on to the gay scene with it's much anticipated re-launch at the Fridge.
