Club Together at the CrossAfter the hangover and tiredness of New Year’s Eve has settled, London’s club promoters return with Club Together, an idea that should help bring festive cheer to those who really need it – the carers who forgo their own Christmas and New Year’s celebrations to help others.
Club Together on Saturday 7th January will see the Cross play host to promoters from all across clubland. Yes, that’s promoters, not DJs – tonight the fixers are giving their musical brethren a rest as they entertain us, with all the proceeds going to charity.
The Cross is usually home to super-slick house nights like Type and Fiction. But for this one night, things are going to be slightly more manic, as promoters from other leading London clubs like the Ministry Of Sound and the Egg test out their skills. Some are DJs in their own right, but most just play for fun. Whatever the case, they will all be here on the night, doing their best to raise as much money for charity as possible – and look good while doing it. Well, that’s the theory, anyway.
Here is a list of the all night’s DJs, listed by their location in the Cross:
Phil Sales, Andy Blackett and Dave Vega (Ministry of Sound)
Graham, Ed and Stix (Turnmills)
Ryan (The End)
Sammi G and Ramonski (Egg)
Jason Lorimer (Penge)
Richard Newport (Cross Central)
Mark (Pukka Up)
Nikki Gordon (Neighbourhood)
Richard Smith (MUZIK X-PRESS)
Lee Freeman and Simon Patterson (DTPM)
