Pride saved. Got any left to give? What's the point these days?

Recall how Pride went tits up last year meaning they cancelled most of World Pride days before it was due to take place?  It brought disgrace and embarrassment on London (if we could feel such things) with many turning up from all over the world to find London had f*cked it up and we'd wasted their time and money.

Neither was it the first time Pride had gone wrong - there's a reason various gay committees of every ilk, and especially ones associated with Pride, get called the Close-It Queens. It all makes it hard to give a f*ck and question the whole point of the thing.

Did Philip Schofield do nothing as Gordon the Gopher was abused live on children's telly in the 80s?

Philip Schofield, who today give the PM a list of paediatricians he'd found on the internet and demanded action, got more than he bargained for when a blast from the past turned up, according to the net.  

After giving the PM a list of people to investigate, Schofield was (not) joined on set by Gordon the Gopher from his days in children's television at the now infamous BBC.

Gordon the Gopher made shocking allegations according to stuff we might one day read on the internet:  "Squeek squeek squeeeek Philip squeek squeek squeek" the Gopher may or may not have said live on air... Gopher translators on the internet could one day say Gordon alleged that Schofield had watched him being fisted repeatedly live on air and did nothing but laugh as he squeeked for help - "All Schofield did was talk about He-Man, Thomas the Tanked Up Engine (Saville?), Byker Grove and "that hottie Bacon from Blue Peter", nobody alleges.

Mayor of Reykjavik drags up for Pussy Riot

Pink News reports "With a week to go before the verdict in the Pussy Riot trial, the Mayor of Reykjavik Jon Gnarr has donned a pink dress and danced to the band’s music on a float at the city’s gay pride festival."

 

Vietnam Gay Pride

Vietnam has held its first ever Gay Pride parade. It took place in Hanoi on Sunday. The government there has recently proposed including same-sex couples in the country’s marriage laws. If that were to happen Vietnam would be the first country in Asia to do so.
