We had a fun journey into town Sunday for Soho Live. Cycling in from Vauxhall we navigated a gauntlet of fascists and hot headed pro-Islamist teenagers and the parallel anti factions.

Evolved events announce the official Soho Live after party in Paparazzi at the Wandsorth Palais on Sunday 13th September with live PA Lisa Millet and DJs Pagano, Paul Heron, Brent Nicholls, Alessandro, Pier Morocco and Oliver M. Coming up on Sunday 13th September Gaydar Radio and Edge bar will be shutting down the streets around Soho square for 100% free parties all afternoon. It runs from 1pm-8pm with performances from Phil Marriot (GaydarRadio), Oliver M (Matinee), the Freemasons and more in Soho Square and DJs Per QX, Mikey D, Kris Di Angelis, Jamie Head and more; PAs Therese, Crystal MC and SBandXXX in Rupert Street + there's an after party from 9pm (not free) in Wandsworth Palais. Soho Pride was cancelled but now it's teplaced by SOHO LIVE, organised by Gaydar and The Edge. It's scheduled for Sunday 13th September and they'll be closing Soho to traffic. Watch this space for more details.
Nope, the annual fundraiser for Soho's gay bars won't be on this year. Boris pulled the funding as he didn't think it worthy enough and those with most to gain (Soho venues) weren't up for paying more. Soho goes traffic-free on Sunday, August 17 from 12pm - 8pm. Thousands of gay London men will once again take over the streets and turn out to party at their favourite Soho bars, clubs and the outside stages.
Soho Pride is London’s biggest free gay street party.
